Privacy policy

What we collect when you get in touch or visit this site, why, and the rights you have over it. Last updated 13 October 2026.

Who we are

Altura Advisory is the controller of the personal data described here.

Aragon House Business Centre, Dragonara Road, St Julian's STJ 3104, Malta. For anything about your data, email hello@altura.mt.

When you contact us

If you email us, use the contact form or book a call, we receive what you send: usually your name, your organisation, your work email address, the topic you're interested in, and your message. Please don't include sensitive personal data.

We use it only to reply, arrange and hold a discovery call, and, if we go on to work together, to prepare and run that engagement.

Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We never sell your data or use it for marketing lists.

When you visit the site

The site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own site, so your browser doesn't contact Google or any other font service.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and we can't see it.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare, to host and protect this website;
  • our email provider, to receive and store email;
  • Formspree, to deliver contact form messages;
  • a scheduling service, if you book a call through a booking link.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn't lead to an engagement, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact.

If we work together, we keep engagement records for as long as Maltese law requires us to keep business and accounting records, and no longer.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it at any time. Email hello@altura.mt and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner at idpc.org.mt, or to the data protection authority where you live.

We don't make automated decisions about you. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
